About Us

-Laborer’s Apprentices are referred to a contractor’s jobsite for on-the-job training in conjunction with receiving instruction at our school. Matters pertaining to 1st Aid / CPR, job safety and health, and task-specific special skills will be addressed in training sessions at the Laborers Training School. The Apprentices then put these practices to use on job sites, as labor and management work together to develop highly skilled and productive construction workers. The Alaska Laborers Training School accepts applications year round to apply for the apprenticeship program. Interviews are given twice a year. Located at 13500 Old Seward Highway, Anchorage.
