Anchorage Police Department Employees Assoc.
Professional Employer Organizations
The Anchorage Police Department Employees Association (APDEA) represents over 500 employees at the Anchorage Police Department, the largest law enforcement agency in Alaska. Founded in 1964, APDEA is the city’s second-largest bargaining unit and operates independently of any larger union. Employees fall under more than 20 different classifications throughout the department and are all part of a collaborative public safety unit, offering the best possible service to the Anchorage community. As employees of the Anchorage Police Department, we have a stake in the progress of the department and are major supporters of youth activities and victim advocacy charities in Anchorage.
