Annual Beautification Tea

The Annual Chamber Beautification Tea is a fundraiser to help support and maintain Eagle River's Chief Alex Park. Chief Alex Park is located at the intersection of the Old Eagle River Rd. and Monte Street, next to Eagle River Elementary School. 

The Annual Chamber Beautification Tea is talked about year-round as many businesses want the bragging rights for "Best Table" during the year! Each year brings a new theme, new decorated tables, and antique china. Dig out your Grandmother's China to proudly display as Table Sponsors bring their own dishes. 

The event includes complimentary drinks, delicious brunch, scrumptious desserts, a live and silent auction, entertainment and always plenty of time to visit and vote for your favorite table!

The Chamber leases the Chief Alex Park land from Eklutna, Inc. and is in charge of its maintenance and upkeep. 

Since its infancy, the Park has undergone various renovations and additions. Today, the Park, flowers, Clock Tower and Eagle River sign welcome visitors to our town.

The Chief Alex Park Committee meets regularly to discuss financial matters, fundraising efforts, spring and fall clean-up and year-round maintenance. The committee is presently working on a CAP project for the summer with UAA and the Garden Club. For more information go to the Chief Alex Park Page.
